make my own sliding windows skid steer I have a 2003 773G with an enclosed cab. The sliding side windows are very hard to open and close. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the side windows slide open easier? I have tried a dry type lubricant and it has helped a little, but they still require a lot of effort to open/close them... Thanks.

homemade Bobcat skid steer side windows with fresh air
I just made some winter windows for my '99 763. I just made a cardboard template (get in the cab to mark it out and then add 1" to 1.5" all around to cover the area outside of the cage holes). Trace it onto 1/4" plywood left over from a house job.
Bobcat S250 skid steer home made windows / cab. See custom fresh air dials. 3/8" plexiglass was used. Glued with rubber washers.

I found a couple, but wasn't ready to spend over 00.00 on the set. I purchased polycarbonate for the front window and cut a blank out of cardboard. I used 1" wide 1/16" on the outside and 1/8" on the inside frame backed by magnetic tape. I have a 2003 773G with an enclosed cab. The sliding side windows are very hard to open and close. We’ll be showing you how to replace a Kubota skid steer window in a Kubota SVL-75. We recommend having two people for installing skid steer windows. It’ll ju. For Bobcat, you can make plexiglass windows and build a door from scratch but you will spend 1k easily. If you figure in your time, effort, and materials to do your own cab, you are better off getting a cab, in my opinion.

So far I have enjoyed working on my s250. But today is a different story. I made a template, cut it 1/4 less, cleaned my rubber seals, soaked in hot water, and tried to install. I had to walk away from it. My patience was over. On the verge of .
