At the time of purchase the parking break and seat belt lights were flashing. So the machine would not travel and the bucket would not operate. A user reports that his CAT 226 stopped moving and operating hydraulics on a hill. Other users suggest checking fluid level, fuses, interlocks, and solenoid valves. I was scooping dirt and my 259 D just stopped moving all together. Will not go forward, backwards or turn. Also bucket will not go up or down. I checked all fuses and they are good.I assume you mean the loader arms are not raising or lowering by saying "bucket won't move". If this is correct, we not to use the guide below to test the ECM controller. Follow the steps as instructed and post back your results.
