Build the bracketry so the plow can float. Hinge the bottom bracket to the QA plate. Use a chain or something equivalent to pick it up. Snow blades need to be able to flow with the changing terrain. If not they will gouge or lift from the ground, depending on the situation at hand.

I have a large light material bucket all ready and would like to fab up some wings or extension from the sides of the bucket to make it 10' wide and scoop up more snow with it and and take a bigger swath when using it. I'm thinking of building a snow plow set-up for my skid steer because I'm tired of plowing with my bucket. The bucket works, but I think a regular snow plow blade would work much better.
