I used the machine all day and it was fine , the next day i started it up and let it warm up because it was very cold and then i went to disengage the parking break and the light went off but didn't hear a click like usual when the brake disengages , so i checked the seat belt and all that is good the .Customer: john deere 250 skid steer - the left side travels normal, but the right side is slow in both forward and reverse. 2 lever steering - machine has 1100 hrs on it Answered by tj in 1 hour 14 years ago
Posted 8/25/2014 10:13 (#4037442) Subject: john deere 250 II skid steer south west iowa We had to cut the wires and wire the 2 wires together with a heat shrink but splice on the seat switch and seat belt switch and the door switch as it would put the park brake on going over ruff ground.
It's very difficult to diagnose electrical problems without a schematic. I get calls for this type of stuff all the time during my busy season. On a John Deere 250, things that come to mind that are energized with keyed power are the fuel pump and the .I have a 2001 John Deere 250 skid steer. The park brake won't disengage. The seat belt, park switch and seat sensors check out fine. The instrument panel shows it is getting signal to solenoid and it's working too. Someone told me to check to see if the actuator was working but not sure where it is located.
